American History Answer

Well....Most fighting took place on the souths land. So once the war was over lots of places in the south was distoryed. The southerners were having a tough time. Facing fears of the slaves to rebel when they were free. They would go through rough times ahead. A group formed called the KKK. who tried to abolish civil rights for African Americans the south would be changed.
